Fax : 250-305-1160 Cliff Wyatt, President Cliff has extensive industry experience; 8 years at Mill & Timber Products manufacturing finished lumber products, 4 years at E R Probyn custom cutting cedar logs for local sales and export, 6 years with American International Forest Products in Portland, OR, as a cedar buyer of Canadian product for distribution in the United States, 4 years with Lions Gate Trading in charge of the trading floor, dealing in all species of lumber. While with Lions Gate he became an alternate drywall distribution supplier. Cliff left Lions Gate to run the drywall department for Western Timberman for 4 years. Feeling ready to take on a new challenge he founded WMI in 1999 specializing in drywall distribution, lumber remanufacturing and sales. Cliff is an avid guitar player, an excellent horseman, enjoys boating, fishing, playing squash and driving fast cars. Send Shelby Nickel an email Penny Wyatt Penny is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, holding a Bachelor of Education. She spent 12 years teaching kindergarten before leaving the profession to join Cliff with the founding of Wyatt Marketing Inc. She plays an integral part in the every day operation of WMI overseeing all financial matters, logistics, and account management. Penny enjoys playing squash, weight training, gourmet cooking, is an avid horseman and an accomplished leather design artist. She has been with WMI from the beginning starting as their receptionist and quickly advancing to accounting and logistics. Jennifer and her husband Sam own a small acreage out side of the Williams Lake area. She enjoys cooking, cross-stitching and is an avid runner, completing her first full (26.2 miles) marathon in May 2005 and her second in May 2006. Shelby Nickel has been working in the forest industry for 15 years in both plywood and dimension lumber mills. Shelby has held a range of management positions with Weldwood, Riverside and Tolko. He has extensive knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process and various product shipping options. Shelby holds a degree from BCIT in Wood Products Manufacturing, and upon graduation earned the BCIT Award of Excellence as their top graduating student. Michael Michaud Mike Michaud joins the WMI team as a seasoned broker with 23 years of experience in the lumber and wall & ceiling industry. Mike and his wife Kathleen, along with their two children, Macey (6) and Kai (3) live in beautiful White Rock, B.C. Mike enjoys golfing, baseball, hockey, home bbq’s and all family functions.
Justin Meeker Justin has been involved in the forest industry since 1970. A graduate of UVIC, he started his career as an owner-operator in the shake and shingle industry on Vancouver island. In the 1980’s, he was involved with his families wholesale-manufacturing lumber business in BC’s Fraser Valley. Justin joined WMI in 2007 looking for new challenges and the opportunity to work with a young and dynamic team in a growing company. His diversified knowledge of our industry brings a positive element to our company.Away from work Justin enjoys time with his family, fishing , golfing and all nature attractions living on Canada’s West Coast.
Debbie Steward Deb Steward has been involved with business administration & accounting for the past 25 years. She joined our Southern office in March 08. Deb lives in the Cloverdale area and enjoys skiing, rollerblading, running, boating & riding her motorcycle. But most of all loves being a Grandma. She left the hotel industry as an Assistant Manager after 3 and a half years to forward her career in the marketing field. Jessica and her fiance Jordan are about to tie the knot this July and start their lives together. They are settling down in Williams Lake. She enjoys photography, helping Jordan as he works on trucks and is slowly getting into baking.
